Prepare the Infusion:
In a saucepan, bring 1 liter of filtered water to a boil. Stir in the sugar until dissolved. Adjust the amount of sugar to your preference, aiming for a balance between sweet and tart.

Infuse with Hibiscus:
Once the water reaches a boil, remove the saucepan from heat and add the dry hibiscus flowers. Stir gently to ensure the flowers are submerged. Cover the saucepan and let the mixture steep for about 20 minutes, allowing the flavors to develop.

Add Room Temperature Water:
After steeping, uncover the saucepan and add another liter of room temperature filtered water to dilute the infusion. Stir well to combine.

Strain and Chill:
Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the liquid into glass jars or a pitcher to remove the hibiscus flowers. Discard the flowers. Transfer the strained infusion to the refrigerator to chill thoroughly.

Serve:
When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the chilled hibiscus infusion into each glass, leaving room for garnishes.

Garnish and Enjoy:
Squeeze fresh lime juice into each glass according to personal taste preferences. Stir gently to combine. Garnish with lime slices and mint leaves, if desired, for a refreshing touch. Serve immediately and enjoy the vibrant flavors!
